Joe DiVestea, Chairman

Joe has been a financial advisor for over 28 years and manages DiVestea Wealth Partners of Raymond James. He is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Wake Forest University and has been a leader in his community since the onset of his career. Joe has served the local community as the former President of the Carmel School Board and as past Chairman of the Putnam Hospital Center. He presently serves as a trustee of the Healthquest Hospital system and as Chairman of the former Putnam Community Foundation. Joe and his wife Corrinne live in North Salem, NY and have two children, Michael and Diana, ages 15 and 13.

Marty Collins
Marty Collins, Executive Director

An award-winning writer and journalist, Marty was a contributing writer and columnist for the Putnam County Courier before she became the Managing Editor at the Putnam County Press/Times. A resident of Kent, she has volunteered on the Board of Directors of Arts on the Lake, the Kent Conservation Advisory Committee, the Carmel-Kent Chamber of Commerce and the Kent Republican Committee. She presently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Kent Public Library. Marty and her husband Peter are the parents of five children and grandparents to eight. In her spare moments, Marty enjoys reading, writing and gardening.

Ed Isler
Edward Isler

Ed Isler joined the Brewster Senior Housing Foundation in 2017 and is chairman of the Buildings committee. A member of the American Institute of Architects, he brings 40+ years of building experience to the Board. Ed has expertise in both small commercial and residential design/construction gained through working at architectural firms in New York City and beyond. Additionally, Ed was a partner at Infographics, Inc., a computer graphics firm specializing in informational graphics for attorneys for multi-million dollar litigations. Ed moved to North Salem in the 90s, and has served for 19 years on the town’s Architectural Review Board, as well as being Chair of the local Boy Scout troop (Troop 4 Purdys). He has served for four years on Millbrook’s Parents Leadership Annual Network (an independent school) assisting with fundraising and prospective student admissions. Ed Isler has lived in North Salem for over 20 years with his family: wife, kids, dogs, cats, and a retired horse.

Barbara Brangan
Barbara Brangan

Barbara Brangan received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Education from St. Thomas Aquinas College in Sparkill, NY and a Masters Certificate in Business Administration from Mercy College. She taught Elementary School and High School in St. Louis, Missouri and New York. She joined the IBM Corporation and enjoyed a diversified and fulfilling career in Marketing, Management, Executive and Employee Development, and Human Resources as Personnel Advisor to Division Executives and their staffs. After retiring from IBM, Barbara joined the OB/GYN Group of Putnam in Carmel and after five years there, left to become Nanny to her grand-nephew in Stamford, CT, the most satisfying and rewarding career move of them all. Barbara is an active Parishioner of St. Lawrence O’Toole Church: Vice Regent for Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Religious Education teacher, the Bereavement Ministry and Cornerstone Retreat Team. She has been a member of the Board of Directors of Brewster Senior Housing Foundation since 2011.

Pamela Capasso

Pamela Capasso was unanimously voted in by her fellow 50 Main Street residents to represent them in her position as a director for the Foundation. A native of England, Pamela came to the United States in 1961 to work as a nanny. After she married, Pamela and husband lived in Sherman, CT. and owned and operated Cappy’s Deli in Patterson, NY for 20 years. Following her husband’s death, Pamela returned to England to live but discovered she had been too “Americanized” and so she returned to the U.S. in 2002 and began her volunteer work as Foundation director shortly thereafter.

Kathy Maguire

Kathy Maguire has been Property Manager and Bookkeeper for the Putnam Community Foundation for the past 18 years, in addition to serving on the Board of Directors. She oversees and manages all daily operations of 49 senior housing apartments and two commercial offices. Kathy joined the Foundation in 2004 when the construction of Mayor Mitchell Court was completed, and managed the application and move-in process. She was instrumental in all aspects of the construction, rehabilitation and interaction with local government and state agencies in obtaining NYS grants for 50 Main Street, along with the infrastructure for the property located on Stoneleigh Avenue in Carmel.

Paul Denbaum

Paul is a loving father and devoted husband. He lives with his wife Kyrsten and three children, Rylie, Reagan and Henry in the Town of Kent.

Paul has been practicing law for over 7 years, first as litigator and most recently as corporate in-house counsel at a regional real estate company.

He also serves as a Town Councilman in the Town of Kent where is is serving his second term after being re-elected in 2017.

In his free time Paul enjoys spending time with his family and friends, hiking, competing in obstacle course races and going on adventures with his wife and kids.
